God called Audience and seeker named Speaker.

Audience was king , but now he is God .... Say Management Gurus .... Audience management and Audience anger management are two different derivatives of Business communication.

The God has the power and rights to any incarnation , i.e. humble , polite , angry , revengeful , non-participative , attentive and even sometimes destructive.

So , what does a manager/speaker do. Only way out, exercise "patient hearing". Let their venom be out , Let them exercise all their real and masquerade incarnations.

Then , the dos may be following :
1. Silence , Lets you buy time for forecasting and analyzing the intentions.
2. Silence on stage and one sided exorbitant speaking makes the audience tired , and also makes the audience perceive that the speaker has bowed down and adds up to their psychological superiority.
3. If the issues are cognizable , speak after the turbulent pause and that too with an embalming intention to the cause. Empathize with the audience and do the trouble shooting.
4. If the issues are non - cognizable and intentions are malafide , then adhere to the prolonged silence , till absolute silence is achieved. Tell them , you need to research more and more on their views before addressing their issues. Speaking anything against the audience in such a situation will definitely lead to the democratic destruction of the motto of such communication. Protection is ever better than letting some one destruct. Atleast what you have constructed , remains safe.
5. In any communication , there is no winning and no loosing. And the behavior one portrays leaves the lasting effect on memory of all concerned. Nobody remembers the context later , but the happenings . As a speaker always make sure , you do not give others a chance to hate .... Try to win by losing sometimes.
